The creator of this blog wants to challenge his children to think.  There are many thoughts and ideas he has developed as a byproduct of his education and experience that he would like to pass on his children with concern for the future of America and the way of life he has come to know and love.  Freedompresspectives is a blog created to provide a forum for communication of thoughts and ideas related to the natural conflict between individual freedom and social order.  This blog is founded on the proposition that man should be free to pursue self interest and personal fulfillment with personal sovereignty over his own life.  This blog is dedicated to the belief that necessary social cooperation, while posing reasonable limits on freedom to prevent lawlessness, should never rise to the level of tyranny and oppression.  The content will hopefully serve to inspire my children, your children (and generations to follow) to recognize the importance of freedom as a critical foundation of the opportunity that was and is American.  The hope is that our youth will recognize that,  while social cooperation is desirable with the aim of opportunity for all Americans, our foundation will be destroyed if the social mechanisms are constructed at the expense of freedom, personal sovereignty and self- responsibility.
